We developed and implemented a custom digital activation called “Instamural” at the Heineken House during the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco. Our tool tracked and visualized every instagram post with the hashtag #housebyheineken in a giant screen creating a visually-impacting brand mural. We also included an Age-Gating functionality and moderated content through a customized mobile backend.
We found in the Instamural, a way to aggregate content generated by the event participants in their Instagram accounts. Being able to visualize the content related to the brand on a giant screen boosted the brand experience during the different #HouseByHeineken parties.
WE MAXIMIZED SOCIAL INTERACTIONS AND CREATED BRAND AWARENESS THROUGH A GIANT MURAL AT THE #HOUSEBYHEINEKEN
By encouraging the creation of content during the event, it helped us to amplify brand awareness towards followers and friends on instagram. We like to call this strategy an “inside-out” strategy.
